Telangana Formation Day celebrations in Nalgonda, Suryapet and Yadadri districts.
In Nalgonda, Telangana Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Nethi Vidyasagar hoisted the national flag and informed that the State was in rapid progress with the vision of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, and all sections of people were very happy with the TRS ruling.

He stated that government was giving top priority to drinking water and irrigation facility. Stating that water bodies in the villages were getting replenished with the state government’s flagship programme Mission Kakatiya, he said the pending and proposed irrigation projects in the district would be completed soon.
In his speech, he listed out the government’s welfare schemes and achievements in the last three years.
In Suryapet, Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy, after unfurling the national flag, paid tributes to Telangana martyrs’. Addressing the gathering, Reddy said Telangana has been developing on all fronts and the Chief Minister was striving hard to fulfill all the poll promises he made to realise the dreams of people.
Stating that farmers were very happy with uninterrupted power supply, the Energy Minister informed that farming would become a profitable sector in the state with irrigation facility and free fertiliser scheme to farmers. On the occasion, Reddy felicitated the family members of Telangana martyrs.
In Bhongir, Government Whip Gongidi Sunitha along with Collector Anita Ramachandran hoisted the flag after paying tributes to martyrs, and received the police Guard of Honour. Addressing the gathering, Sunitha said for smooth administration and convenience of people, the State government has carved out new districts.
Stating that the vision of Chief Minister had put the State on top in the country when it came to implementation of various welfare schemes, she added that the government has launched pension scheme to single women and KCR kits to new mothers for their welfare.
Tableaux s of different departments highlighting the welfare schemes and programmes were showcased on the day. Cultural programmes organised on this occasion reflected the culture and traditions of the state and government schemes.
So also, political parties, private and government organisations celebrated the Formation Day in a big way. All government offices, main thoroughfares were illuminated and blood donation camps were held to mark the day.
