Heavy rains claim three lives in Nalgonda
Heavy rains coupled with lightning killed three people in Nalgonda, Suryapet and Yadadri districts on Tuesday.
Nalgonda: Heavy rains coupled with lightning killed three people in Nalgonda, Suryapet and Yadadri districts on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Chandrakala (40) of Narsingbatla of Nalgonda district and Bhukya Naresh (24) of Golla thanda of Ananthagiri mandal in Suryapet district. M Bondhaiah (65) 0f Tungtur village of Aler mandal in Yadadri district also died.
Chandrakala died when her cattle shed collapsed due to heavy rain. Naresh was hit by lightning while he was working in his field and Bondhaiah hit by lightning while taking shelter under a tree.
Nakrekal, Ketepally, Miryalaguda of Nalgonda district, Suryapet, Huzurnagar of Suryapet district, Ramannapet, Valigonda, Mothkur mandals of Yadadri district witnessed heavy rains with strong winds. While moderate rains hit in Nalgonda, Narketpally and Kodad.
