Rajamouli’s gesture to underprivileged kids

Kokapet: ‘Baahubali’ director SS rajamouli along with producer Shobhu Yarlagadda visited the kitchen of Akshaya Patra Foundation at Narsingi here on Monday where he donated Rs 86 lakh for the cause.

Commenting on the occasion, Yarlagadda said, “I was amazed to see the process by which hygiene and nutritious food is being prepared and delivered to school children. The process control, standardised recipes and the innovation that has gone into scaling up the delivery of meals to hungry school kids across India is very inspiring.”

Rajamouli added, “Two factors mesmerised me regarding Akshaya Patra. One is the emotion that one idea could take out hunger. Hunger of millions of children. Second is the precision of executing such a huge task to perfection. I feel it is the case study for all of us to learn how to conduct our own lives.”
