Kukatpally: Sri Dharma Shastra Baktha Samaj, KPHB colony, organised a rally on Sunday protesting against the recent ruling of Supreme Court allowing women of all ages to enter the Sabarimala Ayyappa temple. Speaking on the occasion, guru swami Rambabu expressed his anguish over the judgment against the Hindu beliefs and traditions and said that the ruling would hurt sentiments of Hindus. “While there are several such practices prohibiting women in other religions, what is the motive behind the SC order against only Hindus?” he questioned.

“Can the court take similar actions against other religions as well?” he asked and warned that Hindus would not tolerate such attacks on the religion. He said that Ayyappa devotees give respect to women and call them as ‘matha’ during their deeksha. Around 500 devotees participated in a rally that started at Dharma Shastra Bhaktha Samaj, located in the premises of Nalla Pochamma Temple in KPHB colony. Guru swamis Satti Babu, B Rambabu, N Rambabu and others participated in the rally.
