The Nacharam police on Saturday arrested a woman and her paramour for the brutal killing of a man on October 10. According to Malkajgiri ACP Sandeep and CI Mahesh, the couple Veeraiah (47) and Bhagyasri (32) hailing from Jukkal of Kamareddy district were residing at Mallapur. While Veeraiah began working as a DCM driver, his wife Bhagyasri managed to get a job in a private company.

Meanwhile, the woman developed an extramarital relation with one Mukesh Rana (28) belongs to Uttar Pradesh. Learning about the issue, Veeraiah warned her wife and asked her to stay away from Mukesh. Fumed over her husband, Bhagyasri hatched a plan to get rid of Veeraiah. On October 10, the couple had a heated argument and in a fit of rage, the woman bludgeoned her husband to death and fled away with her paramour.

Alerted by the locals, the police reached the spot and registered a case. Based on the CCTV footage, the police cracked the case two months after the incident and arrested the accused.
