Mumbai\'s \'Pissing Tanker\' Attacks Public Urination. Masked vigilantes have taken to the streets of Mumbai. But they don’t drive around in a sleek batmobile.

Masked vigilantes have taken to the streets of Mumbai. But they don’t drive around in a sleek batmobile. No, they drive around in a large yellow tanker, dubbed the “Pissing Tanker”. It might not sound half as smart as the “batmobile” but it certainly is much cooler.

These masked vigilantes don’t fight any Jokers or Harvey Dents either, their enemy is those who relieve themselves on streets by spraying anyone who they catch urinating in public with a huge water cannon. Does the batmobile have a water cannon? We don’t think so.

The vigilantes stand on the large rooftop area of the vehicle and operate the cannon themselves. The bright yellow tanker is believed to be the creation of a secret "anti-public urination activist group", called the “Clean Indian”.

The recognizable logo of a person urinating with a large red sign through it is printed on the vehicle’s side, with a simple message reading, “You Stop, We Stop”. It aims to combat the risk of public urination which is a major problem in India “one spray at a time”.

The video of these Indian Batmen is on YouTube for everyone to see, with the caption, “You won’t believe what we did to people using the outdoors as a toilet.”

The video however, received mixed reviews from its audience.

Kamal Tailor commented, “Public hygiene standards aren't all that high in India, but it is awesome to see someone like The Clean Indian stepping up and highlighting this issue.”

But others, like Orion Champadiyil said, “It is a bad thing to pee in public, with no doubt. But instead of embarrassing people by hitting them with water cannons, if you had taken one moment to count the number of public toilets in India, it might have been a different outcome.”
