To invite Naidu for Chandi Yagam

Hyderabad: Telangana State Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is likely to go to Vijayawada on Thursday. According to sources, the Telangana State Chief Minister will be going to Vijayawada to invite his counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu for the Ayuta Maha Chandi Yagam to be performed for five days from December 23 at Eravalli village in Medak district.

Rao will also visit the temple of Goddess Durga on Indrakeeladri and fulfill his vow to donate a nose stud to the Goddess. KCR had taken a vow that he would present a nose stud if separate Telangana was formed.

It was first said that KCR would be leaving for Vijayawada on Wednesday but it appears that there is a change in his programme since he is now scheduled to attend a reception of the daughter of Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in New Delhi.

KCR will also utilise the occasion to meet other Union Ministers and discuss issues related to the State and will also invite them for the Ayuta Chandi Yagam.
