SCCL chairman reviews STPP works
N Sridhar, chairman and managing director, Singareni Collieries Company Limited, on Wednesday reviewed the progress of Balance of Plant package works of 2 x 600 MW STPP (Singareni Thermal Power Project) with officials of National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC) and Mc Nally Bharat Engineering Company Ltd at Singareni Bhavan in the city.
Hyderabad: N Sridhar, chairman and managing director, Singareni Collieries Company Limited, on Wednesday reviewed the progress of Balance of Plant package works of 2 x 600 MW STPP (Singareni Thermal Power Project) with officials of National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC) and Mc Nally Bharat Engineering Company Ltd at Singareni Bhavan in the city.
The progress of all items of BoP (Balance of Plant) package works (induced draft cooling towers, chimney and circulating water system) was reviewed. Amongst other pending works, the induced draft cooling towers 1B is set to be completed by end of this month, the second chimney flue erection by February 29 and circulating water system (in NBCC scope) by January 15.
The Civil works of Motor Control rooms are to be completed on priority. The Chairman also reviewed the status of supply material for Coal Handling Plant, Ash Handling Plant, CW system, Electrical items, station piping and advised to supply the material required for synchronisation latest by January 15.
