​Kapra: Telugu Desam senior leader and former minister Tulla Devender Goud on Tuesday said that his dream was to ensure accommodation for the poor. He, along with his son and People’s Front Uppal candidate Veerender Goud, conducted road shows at Tirumala Nagar, Indira Nagar, Venkateswara Nagar, Kailasagiri, Rajiv Nagar, Meenakshi Nagar and Krishna Nagar in Meerpet Housing Board Colony division.
Addressing the gatherings, he explained the various development programmes introduced in the constituency when he was serving as a minister under TDP rule. He appealed to the people to elect his son with huge majority by voting cycle symbol.
Veerender Goud assured to provide basic facilities such as drinking water, roads and drainage system in the division. He also assured to provide job opportunities to unemployed youth and ensure all-round development of the constituency if voted to power. TDP HB Colony president B Lakshmi Narayana, VS Bose, Chinna Durgaiah and Ramulu were present.
Earlier, Devender Goud participated in Minorities Uppal Constituency Level Meeting at the People’ Front Office in Nacharam. Addressing the gathering, he recalled his contribution for the uplift of minorities as a Rajya Sabha member. He also appealed to them to lend their support in ensuring his son Veerender Goud’s poll victory.
Meanwhile, Telangana Mala Mahanadu Sangam state President Cheruku Ramchander along with Uppal constituency leaders Narender, Srinivas and Venkatramulu met Tulla Veerender Goud and extended their support to his poll victory.
