Siddipet: Bhavana Nirmana Karmika Sangham (BNRKS) state working president Daripalli Chandram accused the Central and State governments of completely ignoring workers in the construction sector. The KCR government tampered with the comprehensive legislation passed by the then Congress government in 2007 for the welfare of workers. They warned that their struggle would not stop until workers' problems were resolved.
The Chalo Collectorate was organised by the BNRKS seeking to address the problems faced by the construction workers, here on Monday. As part of the event, a rally was organised from Gandhi Chowk to the RDO office, where 'Prajavani' was being held. Subsequently, a petition with various demands was handed over to Additional Collector Padmakar.
