Siddipet: Villager confesses to stealing police weapon

Siddipet: Siddipet in-charge SP and Kamareddy SP Swetha Reddy confirmed that the weapons used by Sadanandam to fire at Ganga Raju in Akkannapet belong to the police. She disclosed the details of firing incident that happened in Akkannapeta and the case of weapons missing from police station. "Sadanandam was taken into custody. During interrogation he said he stole AK 47 and carbon weapon along with 30 bullets. The weapons and 25 bullets have been recovered. The issue came to light when firing was made against Ganga Raju. Action would be taken against police staff present then. Charge-sheet would be filed," she added.
