AgriGold victims to get money from September: YS Jagan
Amaravati: The state government will distribute money to the AgriGold victims from September onwards, announced the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during a review meeting on it on Tuesday at Secretariat.
He said that as the state government committed to give Rs 1150 crore, all the amount will be distributed. The government will recover the money by auctioning the properties of AgriGold, later.
The remaining balance in the auctioned money also will be distributed among the victims, he added.
He said that he ordered the Finance Secretary to make all arrangements for providing the money to the victims on a monthly basis.
He suggested to take the list of victims from the CID officials. Village Volunteers will distribute receipts to the beneficiaries.
On the other hand, Jagan suggested officials to create awareness among the public on the Rythu Bharosa scheme. Volunteers have to take responsibility to educate farmers and tenant farmers on it.
