Andhra Bank organises Swachhata Hi Seva rally in Ongole
Ongole: The employees of Andhra Bank, Ongole zonal office, organized a Swachhata hi Seva rally in Ongole to create awareness on the importance of cleanliness and hygiene and requesting the public to shun one-time use plastic on Tuesday evening.
In the rally conducted from the zonal office to church center and ended at the zonal office, the zonal manager P Ramakrishna said that Andhra Bank is always in the front to work for the common people and cater to the needs of down trodden and farmers in time.
He said that as part of the social responsibility services, the bank is taking up various programs from September 11 to October 1, to create awareness on cleanliness, avoiding plastic, environment protection etc to the customers and the public. He said that in similar lines, they are organizing a waste disposal program from October 3 to 27, and are preparing to offer sramadanam in villages and towns by the employees of the Andhra Bank in the Prakasam and Nellore districts.
The bank AGM N Ganesh said that the bank employees in the region are actively participated in the program as per the call was given by the central government. He announced that the bank will take up a similar program in the future also.
The bank AGMs P Simhachalam, Chandrareddy, union leaders UV Ratnam, CB Rao, PK Rajeswara Rao and managers and staff from other branches also participated in the program.
