APUSMA leaders greet SERMC chairman
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Private and Unaided School Management Association (APUSMA) chief mentor A Krishna Reddy and general secretary K Tulasi Vishnu Prasad on Friday met the School Education Regulatory and Monitoring Commission (SERMC) chairperson Justice R Kantha Rao and congratulated him on being appointed as the chairperson of SERMC.
On the occasion, they briefed about various programmes APUSMA was taking up to impart quality education to the students. They also discussed about various issues related to APUSMA with the chairperson on the occasion.
Justice Kantha Rao said that they would take measures to improve the standard of education qualitatively in the state. Kantha Rao was born in Srikakulam in 1954 and worked as lawyer from 1980 to 1993 and from 1993 to 2016 he rendered his service as judge in various capacities and was retired. Kantha Rao will hold the post of chairperson of SERMC for five years.
