Cops organise 5-K Run as part of Police Martyrs Week: SP Anburajan

Kadapa: As part of Police Commemoration Week, SP Anburajan has inaugurated 5-K marathon here on Thursday. Students in large numbers participated in the event.

The marathon which was started from Police Parade grounds proceeded through NTR Circle, Koti Reddy Circle, Annamaiah Circle, Krishna Circle and old RIMS Circle and concluded at Parade grounds.

On this occasion the SP has facilitated the YSR Sports School student S Lakshman who secured first place by completing the run in 20.34 minutes. He also felicitated YSR Sports School student K Saikumar and J Panendra from Lakshya Academy who secured second and third places respectively.

He also felicitated other 4 players in various sports – U Praneeth Kumar(foot ball), M Ravi Teja (volleyball) D Hemanth and S V S Balaji(Hockey). Police officials Rishi Kesava Reddy, B Ramanaiah and others were present.
