District Education Officer tells teachers to dress properly

Guntur: District Education Officer RS Ganga Bhavani directed the headmasters to strictly implement the dress code and warned that she would take stern action, if anybody violates the orders. She issued orders to this effect.

The DEO instructed the deputy education officers, MEOs to take steps to implement the orders. In government schools, some of the teachers wear jeans pant and T shirts and come to the school. Similarly, the lady teachers wear fashion and tight dresses and come to school to teach the lessons. She directed the teachers to wear only the traditional dresses. She instructed the teachers to come to the school on time.

They should take biometric attendance. They should leave the school after the last bell only. They should stand while teaching the lessons. The government teachers should stop working in tutorial colleges in the interest of the students, she ordered.
