Eluru:Collector R Muthyala Raju orders District Education Officer to rectify errors

Eluru: Following complaints from genuine families on negligence of officials in not extending benefits under prestigious 'Amma Vodi' scheme at the Spandana programme here on Monday, District Collector R Muthyala Raju ordered District Education Officer CV Renuka to rectify the errors and help the eligible families get the benefits.

Shaikh Kalesha of Tirumalapalem complained that the officials had wrongly registered another's Aadhaar number instead of his wife resulting in denial of Amma Vodi scheme financial assistance. His son was studying in MP Upper Primary School in the village, he added.

Another eligible person, G Neelaveni of Vellachintalagudem complained that though district revenue official had issued a certificate stating that she was eligible for the 'Amma Vodi', the officials never cared to pursue her case and she was not getting the amount so far.
