Dy CM, Collector take part in Amrutha Bhoomi film shoot
Vizianagaram: Deputy Chief Minister P Pushpa Srivani and Collector M Harijawaharlal participated in the shooting of 'Amrutha Bhoomi' here on Sunday. The movie is being produced by Prakruthi Adi Devo Bhava productions on natural farming and directed by AB Anand.
Speaking on the occasion, Collector Harijawaharlal said that the government would promote natural farming and encourage the farmers to produce chemical-free grains. Pushpa Srivani was acting in teachers' role and inspiring the students towards natural farming.
Various scenes like inspiring the farmers, explaining the farmers about hazards of using chemical fertilizers and pesticides were depicted in the film. As part of the movie, Pushpa Srivani visited the fields along with students and farmers and motivated them towards natural farming.
Senior actor Prasad Babu and others were playing key roles. The Collector said, "It is everybody's responsibility to make our society chemical-free."Srivani said that our next generations should lead healthier life by consuming healthier food. Dr D Parinaidu, an expert in natural farming and K Prakash, district project manager participated in the programme.
