Amaravati: The farmers who have given lands for the Amaravati capital region have staged a protest against Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The protesting farmers have raised the slogans against the government over possible shifting of the state capital from Amaravati.

In this context, the farmers tried to block the CM convoy near Krishnayapalem village in Mangaligiri Mandal. Amidst the confusion created by statements made by the ministers, the farmers demanded the Chief Minister to answer them and make a clear announcement on the issue.

Over this, the police have stopped and moved them away from the convoy route. The farmers of AP capital city are continuing their protest by coming on to the road at Yerrabalem village in Mangalagiri Mandal of Guntur district. They said it is worrying that Minister Botsa Satyanarayana who is taking salary every month, doesn't know the pain of the farmers.
