Former TTD official made INTUC district working president in Tirupati
Tirupati: M Mohan Reddy, who had recently retired as TTD official, took charge as Chittoor district INTUC working president, at a meeting held near here on Sunday. He was appointed as district working president by INTUC national president G Sanjiva Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohan Reddy said with his experience as TTD Employees' Union leader, he will strive to strengthen INTUC in the district. Former Union minister Dr Chinta Mohan, who was the special invitee criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his anti-labour policies and called on the employees and workers to fight with renewed vigour for the restoration of their rights. INTUC leader L Ratnakumar, Congress leader P Naveen Kumar and others also spoke.
