Former ZP chief Subramanya Reddy likely to join YSRCP in Chittoor

Chittoor: Stage has been set for the entry of TDP leader and former ZP chief M Subramanya Reddy into to YCP, according to reliable sources. Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has given his approval to admit Subramanya Reddy into his party with the intention of strengthening YCP in Kuppam Assembly constituency which is being represented by N Chandrababu Naidu.

It may be recalled that Subramanya Reddy had contested thrice against former Naidu earlier on Congress ticket. He was close associate of the then chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

He is said the clean politician and smart administrator After the formation of YCP by Jagan, Subramanya Reddy had resigned to ZP chairman post and joined YCP. He joined recently in TDP due to pressure from then Industries Minister N Amaranatha Reddy.

Speaking to The Hans India here on Saturday, Subramanya Reddy admitted that he was forced to join in TDP from YCP under certain unavoidable circumstances. He reiterated that he did a mistake by leaving YSRCP after eight years' association with the party.
