Government aims to cover all eligible farmers under RBS: Collector
Anantapur: District Collector S Sathyanarayana stated that the state government aims to provide the benefits of Rythu Bharosa Scheme to all eligible farmers.
Addressing the farmers at Kuderu tahsildar office at the special Rythu Bharosa Spandana programme, the Collector said that counters have been opened in all villages to cover those farmers who were left out on technical grounds.
These counters are operated jointly by the Revenue and Agriculture departments. He said that several farmers had been left out on technical grounds and due to non-linkage of Aadhaar cards.
These centres have been opened in all mandals in the district. The farmers can rectify their problems at these centres.As on Sunday evening, 28,800 left out farmers have been included out of the 34,550 farmers who were not enlisted on line. The remaining cases will also be sorted out, he assured. The last date will expire on November 15 for inclusion in the final beneficiary list.
