GVMC staff arrears to be cleared soon: Minister

Visakhapatnam: Tourism Minister Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao on Friday participated in discussions with GVMC Commissioner G Srijana and other union leaders over the delay in payment of salaries and wages to GVMC employees.

After the meeting, the Minister said the arrears payable to employees would be settled at the earliest. MP MVV Satyanarayana, Anakapalle MP B Venkata Satyavathi, Gajuwaka MLA Tippala Nagi Reddy, MLA Gudiwada Amarnath, among others were present in the meeting.
