Guntur: Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita assured that she will conduct inquiry into injustice done to YSRCP activists during the TDP government's rule and do justice to them.

She addressed a meeting held at Sri Vasavii Kalyana Mandapam in Pidiguralla on Saturday. She interacted with YSRCP activists who were reportedly attacked during the previous TDP regime.

Speaking on the occasion, she condemned the false propaganda made by the TDP leaders that there was a failure of law and order failure in the State. She made it clear that there was no truth in it.

She questioned why TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu was not speaking on the irregularities committed by former Speaker of State Assembly Dr Kodela Sivaprasada Rao and former MLA Yarapathineni Srinivasa Rao.

She wondered why these leaders were not found with Chandrababu Naidu these days. She criticised the TDP rule stating that during the previous regime, the Janmabhoomi committees looted the State.

"Taking TDP failures into consideration, the voters provided victory to YSRCP candidates in151 Assembly constituencies. Ever since the TDP faced defeat, Naidu has been suffering from psychological problem," she said.

She said Chandrababu Naidu was intentionally blaming Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for everything and added that it is not correct. She further said that the Chief Minister prepared plans to implement welfare schemes and keep election promises.

She said the aim of the State government was to extend benefits of welfare schemes to all eligible persons irrespective of politics, religion and caste.

Gurazala MLA Kasu Mahesh Reddy criticised the TDP leaders were least bothered on illegal mining and K-Tax. He said unable to bear harassment of TDP leaders, voters defeated TDP in the State and recalled that TDP national general secretary and former Minister Nara Lokesh was defeated in Mangalagiri Assembly constituency due to corruption charges against the TDP leaders and irregularities committed by them.

He said during the first three months, the YSRCP government filled posts of village volunteers and provided over one lakh jobs to the unemployed youth. MP Lavu Srikrishnadevarayalu, MLAs Pinnelli Rama Krishna Reddy, Ambati Ramababu, MLC Janga Krishnamurthy and former MLC TGV Krishna Reddy were present.
