House site pattas will be distributed to poor: West Godavari Collector R Mutyala Raju

Eluru: District Collector Revu Mutyala Raju has said that layout and demarcation work would be completed for the distribution of 1.18 lakh house site pattas in West Godavari district and selection of 57,000 beneficiaries would be completed for the distribution of pattas.

Mutyala Raju participated in the video conference conducted by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday. The Chief Minister has reviewed the progress of the arrangements made for the distribution of house site pattas and precautionary measures to check spread of coronavirus.

The District Collector informed the CM said all arrangements are being made for the distribution of house site pattas without any hindrances and mistakes. He said beneficiaries will not face problem in construction of houses in the allotted house sites and added that by March 31 all works related to the distribution of house site pattas would be completed.

Referring to the coronavirus threat and precautions, the collector said all efforts are being made to check the spread of coronavirus in the district. He said the district administration is collecting the information of the people, who returned from abroad recently. He said teams comprises of staff from village secretariats, Asha workers, ANMs, and others are conducting survey and collecting the details of the health condition of the people who returned from abroad recently. He said the district administration is giving top priority for maintenance of hygiene in the villages and municipalities and been creating awareness on the importance of maintenance of personal hygiene. He informed the CM YS Jagan that the doctors are available 24 hours at the Government hospitals and the PHCs and isolation wards are also arranged to admit the Corona suspects.

Eluru Range DIG A V Mohana Rao, Superintendent of Police Navadeep Singh Grewal, Joint Collector K Venkataramana Reddy, Joint Collector-2 N Tej Bharat, Trainee Collector Himansh Kaushik and others participated in the video-conference on Friday.
