Initiate stringent action for atrocities on SC/ST's: Ramulu

Kakinada: National SC, ST Commission member K Ramulu directed the East Godavari district officials to initiate stringent measures on the guilty involved in SC, ST atrocity cases in the district. Participating in the review meet organised at district collectorate on Saturday evening, the commission member reviewed the progress in the cases booked under SC, ST atrocity cases.

The commission member expressed concern over raise in SC; ST atrocity cases even afar 70 years of Independence. The commission member on this occasion received representation from public who turned up from various parts of the district. District collector D Muralidhar Reddy, District SP Adanan Nayeem Asmi and other officials participated in the meeting.
