Khammam: NCBC member condemns official decision on Gollapadu canal issue

Khammam: National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) member Acharya Talloju condemned the decision of the officials on the issue of Gollapadu canal in the district.

After meeting the evacuees of Gollapadu canal here on Wednesday, he alleged the officers, during the present crisis, forcibly vacating the evacuees of Gollpadu canal is not right. He appealed to the government to take up canal works after showing alternative accommodation.

Acharya assured the people not to get panic as the BC Commission will always supports them. He pointed out that the BC Commission has the right to question the officers on any issue under Section 336.
