Kodela family rejects state honour, says its a state murder

Amaravati: The deceased TDP senior leader, former speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao's family members have rejected the YSRCP government's State honour for funeral rights.
The chief minister offered the state honour on Tuesday but the family members rejected it on Wednesday. The Kodela body will be cremated today at his native place.
The TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh said that, "It's a government sponsored murder. How can the family accept the state honors from the state government?"
