Lord gives darshan in Kaliyamardana Alankaram

Kadapa: As part of ongoing Brahmotsavams of Sri Kodanda Ramaswamy temple at Vontimitta, Lord Rama gave darshan to the devotees in Kaliyamardana Alankaram on Saturday.The Utsava idol of Lord Rama decorated with different flowers in Kaliyamardhana Alamkaram was taken in a procession in the four Mada streets of the temple.

Artistes including Kerala Bhajana groups and Kolatam groups etc presented cultural events on the occasion.Later, temple priests performed Snapanatirumanjanam to Utsava idols of Lord Rama, Goddess Sita and Lakshmana amidst chanting of Vedic hymns.

Snapanatirumanjanam was performed between 11 am and 12 noon by chanting Purusha Suktham and Sri Suktham. Finally, the event concluded with Manthra Pushpam. In the evening, Lord Rama was taken out in a procession on Ashwa Vahanam.
