Masjids gear up for Ramzan in Guntur

Gutnur : Joint collector Himanshu Shukla directed the officials make necessary arrangements at Masjids in the district on the occasion of Ramzan beginning from May 6. He addressed a review meeting with the officials in Guntur city on Friday.

Speaking on this occasion, he directed the officials to work with coordination. He instructed to take steps to solve traffic problem at the time of namaz and at haleem centres. He directed the officials take steps keep surroundings of Masjid clean and provide drinking water.

He instructed to relax the business timings and directed the labour department officials to give orders to the traders and business establishments. He directed the SPDCL officials to see that there will be no power at the time of namaz and Iftar and directed the RWS officials make necessary drinking water arrangements at Masjids.
