JC Himanshu Shukla stresses on need to encourage new industries

Guntur: Joint Collector Himanshu Shukla felt that there is need to encourage new industries in the district to generate employment opportunities.

He addressed district industries promotion council meeting held here on Tuesday.

Speaking on this occasion, he said that SSI will generate employment opportunities and stressed need to sanction permissions to set up industries. 

He said that development is possible with the generation of employment opportunities. 

He said that the government was giving permissions under single window scheme to set up industries and directed the officials to clear all pending applications. 

He said that they have taken steps to give Rs 8.78 crore incentives for setting up industries in the district. 

DIC general manager Ajay Kumar, DTC Raja Ratnam, LDM Sudarshan Rao was among those participated.
