Based on the complaints received from public , the Civic Body chief has taken decision to clear the all encroachments at prime locations in the city. Many hospitals, hotels and textile shops encroached the road margins and footpaths for setting up sign boards, name plates, other display boards.

Main areas like Doddapuram street, Reddy & Reddy Colony, TK , Yadav and Gangundramandapam streets have become narrow. People are facing hardships for walking and parking the vehicles at road side margins. Pilgrims are facing difficulty to move from one area to another area as many of pushcart owners are doing business by occupying the roads.

Girisha has given instructions to clear encroachments in the city every day. Despite political pressure, they are clearing all the encroachments in private hospitals zone and other areas and imposing huge penalties.

Daily Deputy Commissioner Chandramouleswar Reddy is supervising the clearance along with planning department staff. Pertaining this encroachments clearance Commissioner said to The Hans India that it is a complicated issue. However, we never tolerate encroachment on roads by violating the building planning rules.
