Tirupati: New City Command Control Center will be constructed shortly in the premises of the existing Municipal Corporation Office, Said MCT Commissioner PS Girisha. On Wednesday, addressing the media Commissioner informed that under the smart city project this 24 hours command control centre facility will be available shortly. He added that MCT is trying to get a better rank in next year's Swachh Survekshan Survey when compared with this year rank 6.

"From January 1st to 8 Government of India, Ministry of Urban Development Authority will conduct a IVRS survey to know the sanitation position in the city from the people, hence I request all the stakeholders of city should give answers to these phone call questions properly to get much better rank to Tirupati Municipal Corporation ", Urged, Commissioner Girisha.

Another Major Development, it was said that as part of YSR house sites allotment in Tirupati city Government will allot 26000 house sites to eligible poor in Vadamalapeta, Yerpedu, Chandragiri and Renigunta Mandals. House sites Distribution will be held as a festive as a week-long programme. Further the Commissioner mentioned that under smart city projects civic body has taken up the 4 tanks like Chennagunta, GollavaniGunta, Korameenu Gunta and another one tank to develop as recreation spots by providing walking tracks, landscapes and seating arrangements.
