Meet on seasonal diseases held

Kakinada: The coordination committee meet on seasonal diseases was conducted at East Godavari DMHO office on Monday evening. Addressing the meet of programme officers, division level officers, women and child welfare department officers and panchayat Raj officials, Joint Collector-2 Ch Sattibabu said that every care should be taken to prevent seasonal diseases such as dengue, swine flu and diarrhoea.

Addressing the meet, DMHO Dr T Ramesh Kishore said that in view of prevailing hot weather conditions, people should not move in hot sun between 11 am and 4 pm. The official particularly advised children, women and aged to follow these precautions.Additional DMHO Dr TSR Marty, Dr M Pawan Kumar, Dr Prasanna Kumar, Dr Mallik, Dr Kesav Prasad, Dr Satyanarayana and staff of DMHO and allied departments participated.
