Modugula contesting second time to LS

Guntur: YSRCP MP candidate from Guntur Lok Sabha Modugula Venugopala Reddy is contesting as MP for second time. During the 2009 general elections, he contested from Narasaraopet Parliamentary constituency and elected to Lok Sabha. In the 2014 election, TDP high command fielded him from Guntur West Assembly constituency.

He recently shifted his loyalty to the YSRCP and contesting from Guntur Parliamentary constituency. He is yet to start his election campaign. Vignan Group vice-chairman Lavu Krishnadevarayalu is first timer contesting from Narasaraopet Parliamentary segment on YSRCP ticket. He started ground work long ago and working in a planned way.

YSRCP is fielding Nandigama Suresh from Bapatla Parliamentary Constituency in Guntur district. Hailed from farm family, he is also first timer contesting in the elections. He is yet to start his election campaign.

Similarly, the party is fielding former minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana from Repalle, former SC/ST Commission chairman Meruga Nagarjuna from Vemuru. Sitting MLAs Alla Rama Krishna Reddy from Mangalagiri, Mustafa from Guntur East, Kona Raghupati from Bapatla, Gopireddy Srinivasa Reddy from Narasaraopet, Pennlli Rama Krishna Reddy from Macherla are seniors contesting to state Assembly.
