Officials asked to complete YSR Navasakam survey early: Collector G Veera Pandiyan
Kurnool: District Collector G Veera Pandiyan instructed the officials to shun negligence and ensure that the benefits of YSR Navasakam are reached to the actual beneficiary. He also directed them to complete the pending survey before Saturday. He convened a meeting on YSR Navasakam survey with the officials at Collector conference hall here on Thursday.
Addessing the meeting, the Collector said the survey of rice cards, YSR pension, Jagananna Vidya Deevena and Jagannana Vasathi Jeevana, Kapu Nestam and other schemes are yet to be completed. Particularly the rice card survey at municipalities is pending, the commissioners and DSO have to concentrate more and complete by the end of this month, said Pandiyan.
The district coordinator, Praveen Kumar was ordered to coordinate mandal Arogya Mitra and medical staff to complete issue of YSR Arogyasri. Besides displaying the details of beneficiaries at village and ward secretariats the officials have to receive objections if any from the people.
With regard to dhobis and Naibrahmins ( barbers), coordinate with the labour department to organise melas at mandal level for issuing certificates, he said and assigned the task to the Executive Director of BC Corporation, Seeresha.
The beneficiaries among tailors have to be identified based on the shop license and reject the other applications.
Joint Collector Syed Khaza Mohiuddin, Municipal Commissioner S Ravindra Babu, District Panchayat Officer Prabhakar Rao, District Civil Supplies Officer Padma Sree, Social Welfare Deputy Director Prasad Rao and others were present.
