Ongole: Students told to achieve goals with dedication

Ongole: Telangana Social Welfare and Tribal Welfare Residential Schools Secretary Dr R S Praveen Kumar advised the students to achieve their goals with the commitment and dedication. He spoke to students at the motivation meeting for SC/STs held at the DRRM High School in Ongole on Saturday.

Praveen Kumar said that he prepared a 'Ten Commandments for SWAERO' to motivate students to achieve their goals in life. He asked them to follow the commandments, 'I am not inferior to anyone, I shall be the leader wherever I am, I shall do what I love and be different, I shall always think Big and Aim high, I shall be honest, hardworking and punctual, I shall never blame others for my failures, I shall neither beg nor cheat, I shall repay what I borrow, I shall never fear the unknown, I shall never give up' as each of them are second to none.

He said that the girl students added an 11th commandment, 'I will not marry until I settle in life'. He announced that his mother was his inspiration as she moulded her life from being a coolie to become a teacher. He said the students from social welfare hostels were performing better and mentioned that one of those students, Purna Malavath scaled highest mountains in six continents including the Everest, while a large number of others became doctors, engineers and other professionals and officials serving in both states now.
