Rally against human trafficking flagged off

Kakinada: A rally was taken out to mark of Anti-Human Trafficking Day here on Tuesday. The rally started at Sarpavaram Junction and concluded at Boat Club. College students, women organizations, auto drivers, police staff and others participated.

Flagging off the rally, East Godavari additional SP SV Sridhar Rao said that everyone should strive to create confidence among the victims of trafficking and should stand by them in facing the problems. This is besides extending all possible help for their rehabilitation, he added.

A pledge was solemnized with the participants against the human trafficking. DSPs K Kumar, Venugoapal Naidu, Sarpavaram SI R Govinda Raju, students of Sri Catania Degree and PG College and others participated.
