Sanction loans speedily, Collector tells officials

Eluru: West Godavari District Collector R Muthyala Raju has directed the officials concerned to avoid delay in issuing loans to eligible beneficiaries through various corporations.

He received several representations from people across the district at the 'Spandana' programme held here on Monday. Responding to a complaint made by a Scheduled Caste beneficiary, the Collector instructed the officials not to delay loans to the eligible beneficiaries and ensure that the units were set-up. Any delays in sanction of loan amount would cause loss to the beneficiaries which should be avoided by prompt issue of loans, he directed.

The Collector warned that any delay in issue of loans to the beneficiaries would be treated seriously and the officials responsible should be responsible for the same. He would not spare such delays as it would result in defeating the very purpose of issuing loans to the beneficiaries, the Collector added.
