Single desk to encourage industrialists: Collector

Eluru: District Collector R Muthyala Raju has directed the officials to give all permissions through single desk to the enthusiastic entrepreneurs intending to set up industries in West Godavari district.

He convened a meeting with officials of district industries promotion committee here on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, he asked the officials to give permissions at the earliest to industrialists who meet the eligible conditions to set up new units in the district.

With regard to other industrialists, the officials should specify the reasons for rejection of their applications. Similarly, the officials should verify, from time to time, to confirm whether the industries set up are running as per the rules.

Referring to incentives, the District Collector told the Industries Department General Manager to submit a report after scrutiny of investment subsidy proposals.
