SP to form CCS for home guards

Ongole: The Prakasam district superintendent of police Siddharth Kaushal conducted a review meeting on Friday with the district police officers and leaders of home guards association to initiate steps for the welfare of home guards in the district.

After the discussion and taking inputs from the colleagues, the SP approved to form a cooperative credit society (CCS) for the home guards, issue identity cards to them and provide subsidiary store cards to receive provisions and other goods from the police subsidiary canteen.

The SP also assured to provide a C category job on compassionate grounds to the kin of the home guard S Eswar as his wife, Anusha requested the SP to provide a livelihood. Additional SP K Mahendra Patrudu, RIs Ankamma Rao, Manohar, Nageswara Rao, Home Guards Association state president S Govind, general secretary Surendra, district president D Baburao, treasurer S Raghavendra Rao and others also participated in the meeting.
