Chief Minister lauds SP Siddharth Kaushal over Spandana

Ongole: Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy appreciated the district Superintendent of Police Siddharth Kaushal for his groundbreaking initiatives in organising 'Spandana', grievance redressal program in a more transparent way, said a press release from the SP's office here on Tuesday.

The note said that in the video-conference held with district police department officials on Tuesday about the response on 'Spandana', the chief minister lauded the efforts of the SP in utilizing the technology to incorporate transparency in government administration.

It may be recalled that the SP introduced the video-conference system in all police stations in the district, including in the rural and remote area police stations. He is monitoring the grievance program in all stations through the video-conference and directing the officials for action or taking their version for the delay in investigations while he receives a complaint at his office.

He is also live-streaming the 'Spandana' program on facebook for the public increasing the transparency in the police department. The chief minister appreciated these efforts of the SP and advised him to continue the same.
