Welfare schemes to all poor with transparency: Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy
Addanki: The chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is implementing Navaratnalu program with an aim to extend all welfare programs to the poor man, said the Minister for Energy, Environment, Forests, Science and Technology Balineni Srinivasa Reddy.
The minister inaugurated the Vanam Manam program and village secretariat at Makkenavaripalem in Addanki mandal on Thursday. The Minister announced that the government is trying to provide housing plots to all homeless people in the state by Ugadi festival.
He said that the chief minister is working restlessly to provide welfare schemes to all and bring government nearer to the public through the village secretariats. He said that lakhs of youth received jobs in the village and ward secretariats and thousands more are working as volunteers.
He said that it is the responsibility of the secretariat staff and volunteers to see the housing plots, YSR pensions and other programs reach to every household. He invited the active participation of the public in Vanam Manam to plant trees so that the next generation enjoys a good environment.
Former MLA Bachina Chenchugarataiah, Ongole forest range officer Srikanth Reddy, MPDOs, tahsildars also participated in the program.
