YS Vijayamma appeals to people to vote for credibility

Jaggampeta (East Godavari): YSR Congress honorary president Y S Vijayamma appealed to people to vote for a change and credibility. Addressing a public meeting here on Thursday, the YSRC leader said that the ruling TDP has totally neglected the interests of women, farmers and poor sections of society.

Vijayamma also said the mandate should be for a decisive change as the State has been pushed into backwardness with people's welfare taking a backseat in the last five years. "It is time for a change which only can see the development of the State," she said. She said that Jagan will ensure good administration like Dr YSR.

With elections away by few months, Chandrababu Naidu woke up and started showering sops on women under the name 'Pasupu Kunkuma' and other schemes, she said. During previous elections, he has promised many sops and welfare measures but did not fulfill them, she pointed out.

The Chief Minister also promised to waive loans to women groups and farmers but did not fulfill these and numerous other promises, she revealed. The largely attended people particularly women cheered her whenever she criticised the TDP and its policies.
