Kaappaan having a good run at the Kollywood box office

Even though it got a dull start and poor reports from the Telugu states, Suriya's Kaappaan (Bandobast) is having a good run at the Tamil box office. Due to Suriya's immense craze in the state, Kappaan managed to earn impressive collections across all the centres of Tamil Nadu.

The Kollywood trade analysts revealed that the Saturday collections of the film in the state are higher than the collections of Friday. They are predicting that the film is going to mint more money on Sunday compared to Friday and Saturday. On the whole, Kaappaan is all set to register excellent numbers over this weekend.

Directed by KV Anand, Kaappaan deals with the story of an SPG commando who investigates the assassination case of the Prime Minister. Mohanlal, Arya, Sayyeshaa and Boman Irani are seen in the other important roles of the film.
