'Savari' to hit screens on Feb 7

New-age stars Karthikeya and Vishwak Sen bought the tickets of upcoming Telugu film 'Savari' starring Nandu and Priyanka Sharma and directed by Sahit Mothkuri, at a pre-release event held in Hyderabad on Monday.

The film is jointly produced by Santosh Mothkuri and Nishank Reddy under Kalwa Narasimhaswamy Productions. The movie is releasing on February 7.

Director Sahit Mothkuri said, "The film is being produced by my elder brother Santosh and friend Nishank keeping trust in me without compromising on quality.

The film is being released in 25 screens in the US. Everyone is saying new-age films are doing well, our 'Savari' boasts of refreshing story," he adds.

Guest hero Karthikeya felt that the film has enough potential to strike a chord with masses, while Vishwak Sen said that he would like to work with talented director Sahit one day.

Exploring the rural space, skillfully combining it with the urban milieu, 'Savaari's trailer makes it seem like a film to watch out for.

The raw appeal of Nandu's character, his mysterious bond with his horse Baadhsha and a runaway bride surely make for a premise that can work on screen. Let's wait and see.
