Titled 'Shvet' the new ensembles are a series of standout trends, the colour of the season whites, with a lightness touch and elegance of finish; the trend that fits into every realm of life. Textile and Fashion Designer Gaurang Shah continues to inspire.

Known for his otherworldly Jamdani creations—requiring his master weavers astute weaving skills and months of work in looms – Gaurang provides a masterclass in Indian haute couture this season with 'Shvet' – a series of handwoven artisan textiles, bonded in white - the color of pure love.

The 6 cities 'Shvet' showcase begins in New Delhi this week for 3 days starting from 18th of April, at his high-end store in an inviting space: just him, and the clothes, and will travel to – Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.

The feel-good vibes line created by Gaurang translates Jamdani weaves into textiles of finest Khadi, Kota, Benaras, Dhaka, Kanjeevaram heightened with embellishments; chikankari, Parsi gara and block print creating an alluring play of light and shadow.

Designer Gaurang states "This season more than ever, Indian Textiles will be the cynosure of global couture. In Shvet, I bring a series of 40 looks, reflecting the full of life white shades of nature, through the fabric of time which handlooms passionate love to own."

"In Indian summer, it's nice to showcase, how best sartorial Jamdani is," Gaurang adds. Fashionistas will find the premium tailored 'Shvet' collections appealing, for its draping, fluid lines, and folds, each creating their own true identity.

'Shvet' inspired by inherent love stories around us; captures the desire of the moonlight and the clouds, the tempestuous love of thunder and lightning, the beauty of sunflower and honey bee, and the passionate awakening of the rainbow after the rain.

Several Fashion Icons have adorned Gaurang's Jamdani. Fashion Icon Sonam Kapoor, is always pictured, looking effortlessly cool in Gaurang Khadi saree and Indian dresses, while Kiron Kher has been wearing Gaurang saree designs on several occasion and realty shows. Vidya Balan, in her worldwide travels, and her movie appearances, used Gaurang Jamdani saree with immense charm and grace. His costume design for the film 'Mahanati', was applauded for brining authentic looks to legendary movie star Savitri prized fashion possessions.

Since the inception of his textile and fashion design business 20 years ago, Gaurang has created new trends in Jamdani designs; his looks require endless hours of weaver skill, inventive material and months of weaving in looms.
