Rayudu Arun Kumar hits a hat-trick

Visakhapatnam: Rayudu Arun Kumar, a student of Vignan's Institute of Information Technology (VIIT) (Autonomous) hit a hat-trick in roller sports by bagging a gold medal in the National Inter-University Roller Sports tournament concluded recently in Punjab. Earlier, Arun Kumar had played from the institution and represented JNTUK, Kakinada for third consecutive year, creating a record.

Arun is studying III year B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) at VIIT. Rector of the Institute V. Madhusudhan Rao, Principal B. Arundathi, Vice Principal K. Madhusudhana Rao, Deans, HoDs and physical directors congratulated Arun and appreciated his efforts for hitting hat-trick.

VIIT has announced Rs.50,000 cash prize for his outstanding performance roller sports for the past three years. Later, the champion was felicitated by the staff and the management on the campus.
