IETE Day organised at JNTU-K
Kakinada: Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) Day was organised at IETE local centre on the JNTU-K premises here on Saturday.
On this occasion, Dr I Shanti Prabha, Rector of JNTU-K and IETE chairman conveyed the message received from the President of IETE headquarters, New Delhi.
Dr B Prabhakara Rao, former Rector and Programme Director, JNTU-K and IETE governing council member explained about importance and activities of IETE student membership. Dr BT Krishna, Professor and HOD, ECE, addressed the students.
On this occasion, an extension lecture on ‘Career Guidance and Opportunities in Public Service’ was delivered by Dr K Padma Raju, Member, APPSC.
Dr Padma Raju discussed about the personality development of students.
On this occasion, several competitions like quiz, singing, throw ball were conducted to the students. Certificates and prizes were given to the winners. All the faculty, students attended this programme.
Dr M Shailaja, Professor in the Department of ECE, IETE members, faculty, research scholars and students were present on the occasion.
