71st Bonalu celebrations commence at Haribowli

Shahalibanda: The 71st Annual Bonalu of Akkanna Madanna Mahankali Mandiram (AMMM) started its bonalu festivities with Dwajarohana programme at temple in Haribowli near Shahalibanda on Friday.

On this occasion, Temple Priest Kakanuri Ravi Narayana performed special pooja and along with women devotees hoisted flag and started the annual Bonalu festival.

Earlier, Abhishekam, special Alankar, Archana were performed by temple priest, and Kalasa Staphana Pooja was performed by Chetan Suri and Ranganath Purohit. After Dwajarohana 3rd week of Samuhika KumKum Archana were performed by women devotees, in which abrond 620 women participated. Later, Anna prasadam were offered to 1,200 devotees.

Temple patron G Niranjan, President A Satish Kumar, Secretary K Dattatreya, Advisors G Rajaratnam and A Bharat Prakash, Vice-presidents D R Prabhakar, Ramdev Agarwal, M Krishna, Executive Members A Gopal, M Vinod Kumar, G Raju, Amrutlal Sugandi, G Dinesh, G Srinivas, Basavaraju, Anjaiah, M Mukesh and others looked over the arrangements on the occasion.
